Job Summary

The digital content manager focuses on tasks associated with content related projects, ensuring consistency, quality and effectiveness of the companies online content. The position leads a team of writers, editors, freelancers and other staff in order to accomplish these goals.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Sourcing website content for various legal practice areas.
  • Producing internal and external communications including, but not limited to: newsletters, press releases, info-graphics, attorney biographies etc.
  • Managing content writers and editors including, but not limited to, staff writers, freelance writers, and free lance editors.
  • Maintaining a high performance standard with writers and editors by monitoring performance and providing feedback as necessary.
  • Maintaining a regular publishing schedule of content on company websites & blogs
  • Editing content from various internal and external sources.
  • Working with attorneys throughout the content curation process, which includes developing content topics, seeking approval for content in a timely manner, and maintaining content quality.
  • Assists with other essential functions of the company

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have editorial/management background.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior team leader experience is a plus. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
