Job Summary – Medical Writer

BluShark Digital is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable copywriter with experience in a variety of medical areas to produce SEO-optimized content on a weekly basis. This role involves writing informative and medically accurate web pages for practicing doctors and medical firms. This is a telecommute/work-from-home position. 

Successful applicants should be able to work on strict deadlines, closely follow style and tone guidelines, and pull from a base of medical expertise in order to complete assignments accurately and efficiently. If you have a background in medical research and/or writing and would like a position that allows you to set your own hours and work remotely, this role may be a good fit for you.

The starting compensation rate for each page of content produced is $20-$25 per written webpage of 550-700 words in length. This rate is commensurate with experience.

If you are interested in this position, submit your resume and a short writing sample—ideally, a short medical-related article or blog post less than 700 words in length—that demonstrates writing competency, a thorough base of medical knowledge, and a basic understanding of SEO marketing principles.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years of prior writing experience required
  • 2-4 years of prior experience with medical writing highly preferred
  • Experience with SEO principles and techniques preferred but not required
